The top 3 factors heightening the risk of terror attacks on the homeland
As a former military intelligence officer, serving in the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), I tracked foreign threats to the U.S. homeland, identifying adversaries' plans, intentions and capabilities that could harm Americans. I predicted Russia's invasion of Ukraine more than a year before it took place. In March, in my Fox News Digital article titled "Ignore FBI director's urgent warning about terrorist threats at our own peril," I predicted terrorist attacks striking inside the U.S. homeland, the kind that took place on New Year's Day in New Orleans and in Las Vegas. Here are the top three reasons why we will likely face more terrorism in America this year. This time, it will be something we haven't seen before.

New drone footage shows sight line Trump shooter used to open fire on rally
Fox News correspondent CB Cotton reports that different agencies disagree on the events at the Trump rally shooting. Fox News drones provided a new perspective on the sight lines between Thomas Matthew Crooks, former President Trump and the Secret Service counter sniper teams at the fateful rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Thursday. Fox News correspondent CB Cotton also detailed the sight lines that Crooks had when firing on Trump. A drone recreation shows that Crooks was largely concealed from Secret Service counter snipers by a large tree, though he still had an angle on the former president. The Secret Service agent who neutralized Crooks was stationed on a building behind Trump.
Hillary Clinton warns AI tech will make 2016 election disinformation 'look primitive'
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton described herself as a victim of election disinformation during a panel discussion on Thursday, and warned that the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) will make her experience "look primitive." Clinton was taking part in a Columbia University event titled, "AI's Impact on the 2024 Global Elections." She discussed her own experience in 2016 when she lost to former President Donald Trump, pointing out that the internet was populated with memes, fake content and conspiracies about her in the lead-up to Election Day. "I don't think any of us understood it. I did not understand it. I can tell you, my campaign did not understand it. Their, you know, the so-called'Dark Web' was filled with these kinds of memes and stories and videos of all sorts…portraying me in all kinds of… less than flattering ways," Clinton said.
FBI chief warns that terrorists can unleash AI in terrifying new ways
The demo explains how artificial intelligence is used in the app and its features. The chiefs of the FBI and Britain's MI5 have raised concerns about the enormous and terrifying potential artificial intelligence poses for terrorists, saying the technology adds "a level of threat to that we haven't previously encountered." "It's one of those issues where no one has a monopoly of wisdom and trying to have a different form of public-private partnership and, crucially, international partnerships," MI5 Director General Ken McCallum said during the Five Eyes alliance conference in California this week. The conference between the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand focused on the launch of an initiative aimed at finding innovative responses to developing intelligence threats, particularly in the face of new technology such as AI generative platforms. "Emerging technologies are essential to our economic and national security, and America's role as a leading economic power, but they also present new and evolving threats," FBI Director Christopher Wray said ahead of the conference.

FBI director: Terrorists trying to use drones in attacks
The head of the FBI says we may soon be living in a world where terrorists won't even have to risk their lives to carry out mass murder on innocents. In his first testimony before Congress on Wednesday, new FBI Director Christopher Wray says that one of the main concerns of the bureau currently is the possibility of terrorists using drones in attacks. 'It's a topic that we've been discussing a lot lately. I think we do know that terrorists organizations have an interest in using drones. We've seen that overseas already with some growing frequency and I think the expectation is it's coming here imminently,' Wary said, after being asked a question about drones by Sen. John Hoeven (R-North Dakota).
